  • First Cruxshadows Newcastle show in 6 years!

    On July 27th, The Cruxshadows play their first Newcastle show in 6 years (on their first UK tour in 3 years!) in support of their long-awaited new album ‘As the Dark Against My Halo’ – they last played here at Newcastle University way back in 2006, so we’re stoked to have them at Legends.
    Support on this tour comes from Alterred, who are touring to support their fantastic second album ‘Dollstown’ and the show will be openend by Spekulus.

    May 18th 2012 we’ve got an awesome pre-club gig for you.

    Locally we’ve a lot of new talent coming through and there are a lot of bands pushing up their reputation nationally.

    We’ve got 2 of the hot local bands and 2 cool bands from further afield to show case for you ata great price.

    A fiver for four cool bands and a club night!

    First up will be NULL WHITE – they’re from down the road on Teeside providing Bass Heavy dystopian sci fi influenced Industrial dance music.

    Next we’ve TN favourites ANGEL GRINDER. Hot off their show with Eisenfunk, they’re back again – and slightly later for those who missed them last time.

    Back by popular demand is PARESIS. If you missed his show supporting Aesthetic Perfection then you *really* missed out. Like a referee in a fight to the death between Morbid Angel and Combichrist, Simon’s hyper hybrid of extreme metal and extreme electronics will leave you gasping

    And finally : ANTYTHESIS : the brainchild of Nemesis,sided by B.R.K. and Virul3nt (Shiv-r), born right after the split with Alien Vampires.
    It’s a sonic assault where industrial, techno and electro merge together creating a new sound called by the band Industrial Evolution

    As well as the bands, your entry also includes you to the Tech Noir and Toxic club nights through to 3am.

    Very rare northeast appearance from Carter USM frontman Jim Bob! Promoting his new novel ‘Driving Jarvis Ham’, Jim Bob will be performing songs from his back catalogue – both solo and Carter USM classics, and reading excerpts from said new novel.

Influenced by early Thrash Metal along with the New Wave of American Metal, Fallen Fate deliver a mix of Speed and Heavy Technical Riffs to create a contemporary but unique brand of Metal.
